Tudor's North Flag collection returns with a new GMT movement and a more compact case.
Tudor has reintroduced a distinctive modern timepiece. First launched in 2015, the North Flag was an unconventional model in the brand's catalog, and more importantly, it marked a significant milestone in Tudor's technological development as it was the first watch to feature an in-house movement.
Discontinued in 2021, this timepiece returns with the simplified name Northflag. The new 9140G1A0U retains many of the original's visual elements while adding a GMT time zone function, an upgraded movement, and a refined case structure.
A More Compact 40mm Case
The new Tudor Northflag features a 40mm 316L stainless steel case, 12.70mm thick, with a lug spacing of 48.80mm.
The case is predominantly brushed with only minor polished details, continuing the style of the series' tool watches. Water-resistant to 100 meters, the domed sapphire crystal protects the dial.

From Power Reserve to Greenwich Mean Time
One of the biggest differences between the two generations is complexity.
The original North Flag watch featured a power reserve indicator, while the new North Flag replaces it with a second time zone function. The GMT dual time zone function gives the new watch greater travel practicality while retaining the series' connection to adventure.
